Who we are
Coast Plastering is a sole trader plastering business based in Cullercoats, North East England. For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the data controller for any information submitted through this website.
What data we collect
When you submit the contact form on this site, we receive:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- A description of your job or enquiry
Why we collect it
Solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not add you to any mailing list. Our lawful basis for processing is legitimate interests — you have contacted us with a specific request and we are responding to it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to handle your request. If no job follows from an enquiry, we delete it within 6 months. If a job does proceed, we retain relevant records (such as job details and correspondence) for up to 6 years in line with HMRC business record-keeping requirements.
Third-party processing
Form submissions are processed by Formspree (formspree.io), a third-party service that forwards completed forms to us by email. Formspree acts as a data processor on our behalf and maintains a GDPR-compliant data processing agreement. Formspree is based in the United States; data submitted through the form is transferred to their servers outside the UK, protected under their applicable data transfer safeguards.
This website also loads fonts from Google Fonts (Google LLC, USA) and icons from unpkg.com. When a page loads, your IP address and browser details are transmitted to these services as a standard part of fetching those assets. No additional personal data is shared and no tracking of your activity on this site is carried out by these services on our behalf.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask what data we hold about you
- Request that we correct or delete it
- Object to our processing of your data at any time
